N...I always store cut carrots and celery in water. Not sure why, just something that got done while I was a kid...not that I have carrots and celery often in my fridge. I love doing veggie trays for events and I find most of the ones I cut do just fine....cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, for a few days. I don't know if I would personally do a week's worth...again, not that I actually prep anything anyway.<br /><br />You could chop onion and freeze it. I have done this with green peppers for my spaghetti sauce.....then when I make it, I just throw in a handful.
